Client Relationships

The role of the Account Manager involves developing and maintaining strong and valued B2B relationships at all levels of seniority within the allocated portfolio of clients. This includes attendance at industry and partner events, conferences, and awards programs (This will include a limited number of evening and weekend events across the year).

The Account Manager will be responsible for the retention and growth of an employer/member portfolio through various servicing and engagement activities. They will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business partners, and identify, develop and win new business, maintaining relationships with prospective employers as well as ensuring the smooth transition of any large new business wins.

The successful candidate will have strong technical proficiency in all matters superannuation, as well as excellent organisational skills and commercial acumen. They will be able to develop and implement successful account management and sales strategies, including the development and growth of strong B2B relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Retention and growth of an employer/member portfolio through various servicing and engagement activities.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
  3. Identify, develop and win new business.
  4. Maintain relationships with prospective employers.
  5. Ensure the smooth transition of any large new business wins.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of skills and qualifications. These include:

  • Strong technical proficiency in all matters superannuation.
  • Ability to develop and implement successful account management and sales strategies.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Commercial acumen and accomplished networking skills.
  • Outstanding influencing & negotiation skills.
  • RG146 Accreditation is mandatory, diploma of Financial Planning is desirable.
