Expert Food Technologist and Educator Wanted

Our school is seeking an experienced educator to fill a challenging position as a Food Technology and VET Hospitality Teacher. We require a highly skilled individual who can deliver engaging lessons, develop curriculum content and assess student progress effectively.

This role involves teaching food technology and hospitality subjects to students in a dynamic classroom environment. You will be responsible for designing lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of learners, fostering collaboration and creativity amongst your students.

The ideal candidate should have relevant qualifications in food technology or a related field, with prior experience in teaching and training adults or youth. They should also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and maintain current industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality educational content and instructional materials
  • Teach and assess student learning outcomes, providing constructive feedback and guidance where necessary
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, applying them to enhance teaching practices

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in food technology or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
  • Experience in teaching and training adults or youth (minimum 2 years)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
