About the Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technologist – Laboratory to join our Quality Assurance team in Wacol, Brisbane. Working Sunday to Thursday (roughly 7am – 4pm), this role is critical in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

You'll be responsible for laboratory testing, product release, audit compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with the Laboratory Leader, Production, and R&D teams, you'll help maintain our reputation for excellence in food safety and quality.

About You:

You're a passionate quality professional with a strong science background and a commitment to food safety. You understand HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards, and can manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.

You'll Bring:

• A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
• Experience in food laboratories and the FMCG industry
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety systems
• Familiarity with relevant legislation and standards (e.g. Food Standards Code, AS 4696:2023)
• Skills in microbiological and chemical testing of meat products
• Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills
• A proactive mindset with high attention to detail and integrity
