Job Description

This Senior Site Manager role is responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale commercial fit out projects in the Sydney CBD. The successful candidate will work closely with subcontractors to drive programme deliverables and foster positive relationships with all external stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.

About the Opportunity:

The ideal candidate will possess experience of delivering commercial fit out projects in excess of $10m from start to finish, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to influence, build consensus, and work effectively within a team environment.

  • Supervise and manage the project through to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards are met, and budget constraints are respected.
  • Provide regular project reporting on time, cost, and quality, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and areas for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with subcontractors to drive programme deliverables, ensuring seamless coordination and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Baillieu would like to see you build positive relationships with all external stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors, fostering a culture of trust, respect, and open communication.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through the handover and defects phase, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure compliance with WH&S requirements for each project under relevant legislation and company systems, promoting a safe working environment and minimizing risk.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience of delivering commercial fit out projects in excess of $10m in an SM role from start to finish.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence, build consensus, and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to liaise with customers during the sales and settlement processes, providing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
