Job Overview

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead project delivery, developing design specifications, reports, calculations, drawings, and cost estimates in line with our quality assurance framework.

This senior role involves site visits, providing expert advice, preparing reports, and offering engineering and construction support services to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of projects, encompassing design, specification, and reporting.
  • Conducting site visits, advising clients, preparing reports, and delivering engineering and construction support services.
  • Participating in meetings with supervisors and project managers to review project specifications, risks, and opportunities/alternative strategies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree qualification.
  • Possess recent, proven experience working on building services projects as a design engineer.
  • Have a strong understanding of the BCA/NCC and demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and expertise in electrical issues.
  • Enjoy extensive project experience working within Australian Standards, with proficiency in dealing with utilities and other authorities.
  • Proven experience with low-voltage power distribution, earthing, communications, security, and lighting system design.
  • Be proficient in design software such as Bluebeam, Powercad, and AGI32.
Essential Skills and Attributes
  • Australian Citizenship or eligibility for baseline clearance.
  • Hold full working rights in Australia.
