About the role

Are you an experienced Electrical Leading Hand looking to join a thriving company in Wangara, Western Australia? NC Electrical and Communications is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Leading Hand to join our team on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of electricians, ensuring the successful delivery of electrical projects and maintenance services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee and coordinate the work of a team of electricians, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines
  • Liaise with clients, providing updates and managing their expectations
  • Allocate tasks and resources effectively to maximise team productivity
  • Provide on-site supervision and hands-on support to the team as required
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety procedures and regulations
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures
  • Mentor and develop the skills of junior team members

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Electrical Leading Hand or in a similar supervisory role
  • Qualified Electrician with a current electrical licence
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
  • Thorough understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations
  • Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and tools
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service
