Key Role: Senior Software Developer

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, maintain, and enhance information systems, software, and solutions that meet business needs and departmental objectives.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements and deliver solutions that meet business and technical needs, leveraging expertise in Microsoft and open-source platforms.
  3. Provide expert advice, analysis, and recommendations for developing solutions, changes to technologies, and relevant policy, procedures, goals, and objectives to enable project success.
  4. Produce high-quality technical documentation and write clean, efficient, well-documented code, emphasizing quality and scalability.
  5. Engage with staff across the department to facilitate change management and deliver a positive client experience, fostering strong relationships and communication skills.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and supporting solutions using Microsoft and open-source platforms such as Docker and Rabbit MQ.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in web-based technologies, including programming languages, frameworks, and databases.
  • Proven experience in designing, testing, debugging, and documenting software applications and features, with customer engagement experience and analytical thinking.
  • Experience in system analysis, technical research, and producing documentation to support robust and efficient systems, with creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to discuss technical concepts clearly and build strong relationships, operating under limited direction and achieving quality results amidst competing priorities.
