Regional Tourism Promoter

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to promote tourism experiences and enhance visitor satisfaction, spend, activity, and dispersal across the region.
The role is based at our Mornington Peninsula Visitor Information Centre in Dromana, accredited and open 7 days a week, 10am to 4pm, 362 days a year.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet visitors and promote local tourism products and experiences.
- Assist potential visitors to plan their visit, encouraging exploration across the region.
- Respond to incoming inquiries promptly and informatively.
- Record and refer accommodation booking enquiries.
- Monitor, record and collate visitor statistics.
- Experience in customer service or visitor servicing.
- Ability to collect data.
- Basic computer, phone, and internet skills.
- A warm and friendly personality.
- Good interpersonal skills with diverse groups of people.
- Confidence to work independently in a dynamic team environment.
Shifts are available from 10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm. We welcome volunteers who can commit to regular shifts on weekends.
What You'll Need to Do:To be successful in this role, you will need to complete mandatory training and background checks.
