The Opportunity
When was the last time you made a positive impact in someone's life?
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality home care services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, and household chores
- Supporting clients with mobility and therapy goals, including transfers, exercises, and rehabilitation activities
- Providing emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
Requirements:
- Aged Care experience or equivalent qualification
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
Benefits:
- Guaranteed hours and shifts in the Gold Coast area
- Award rate $32.74 per hour + Super + Paid KM's
