About the Role: As a Mental Health/Disability Support Worker, you will work with individuals living with trauma, challenging behaviors, and/or high physical needs. You will collaborate with external care teams and families to deliver high-quality support.

  • Provide personal care, community access, and daily routines for clients
  • Work in participants' homes or our purpose-built facilities
  • Manage complex needs, including behaviors of concern, trauma, forensic backgrounds, and high clinical needs
  • Administer medication and follow health support plans
  • Implement behavior support plans and use de-escalation techniques
  • Deliver person-centered care to NDIS participants
  • Collaborate with clinicians, case workers, and families

About You: To thrive in this role, you will bring the following experience:

  • Minimum 6 months' experience in disability, aged care, mental health, or related fields
  • Certificate III/IV/Diploma in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, or similar (preferred)
  • Experience supporting people with mental illness, high physical needs, and behaviors of concern
  • Demonstrated experience with high physical and clinical needs, including medication administration
  • Strong understanding of professional boundaries, restrictive practices, and behaviour support
  • Effective written and verbal communication, including clear case note writing
  • Able to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, Driver's Licence, and insured vehicle
