Procurement Specialist
This is a crucial role within our commercial operations, where you will be responsible for acquiring goods from various suppliers to meet deadlines and maintain stock levels. You will collaborate closely with the sales team and account managers to ensure that customers receive the best possible products and services.
- Acquire stock from suppliers to meet deadlines and maintain stock levels.
- Organise stock call-ups in line with customer project schedules.
- Ensure the best possible pricing is obtained using various resources.
- Review backorders and follow up delivery times with suppliers daily.
- Keep relevant departments informed of back orders and due dates.
- Answer internal and external queries regarding purchases to assist our end customers.
- Assist and respond to any procurement discrepancies.
- Liaise with suppliers and maintain relationships.
- Provide full support to Sales teams and account managers.
- Provide feedback to management, maintain accurate procurement records.
- Participate in stocktakes twice yearly.
- Any other duties as required to fulfill your role.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
