Role Summary

The Risk Management Finance team is a key part of the Group Support Services Finance team (GSSF) at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide finance support to the Group Executives of support functions, including Risk Management, Financial Services, Marketing & Legal, Corporate Affairs, Human Resources, and Group Strategy.

About the Role

  • Deliver value-add business partnering and insights, including managing the monthly reporting cycle and other management reporting processes.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly planning and forecasting to support Senior Manager/Executive Manager deliverables.
  • Manage and understand in-depth the drivers and methods of allocating costs to frontline businesses.
  • Identify and assess historic and emerging trends in the underlying operations, investigating causes of significant variances and proposing corrective action.
  • Collaborate with peers across Group Support Services Finance to innovate and increase the value that Finance delivers to the business.
