Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at H&M Group. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for generating and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of the P&L and balance sheet. You will work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure the books are complete, accurate, and according to local and group policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out month-end, quarter-end, and year-end routines, including external audit and statutory financial reporting.
  • Initiate and/or review General ledger bookings relating to revenue reconciliations, stock bookings, intercompany transactions, bank and cash flow reconciliations, and other balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Accounts Payable liaison with the centralized team and manage employee reimbursement claims/payment.
  • Apply accounting standards and prepare accounting treatment papers to a high standard.
  • Assist with tax compliance tasks.
  • Assist the Accounting Manager with ad hoc reconciliations and reporting tasks.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities with store teams and other functions (IT, Security).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to secure accounting routines.
  • Coach accountants and centralized accounting support teams to develop and streamline processes.

Requirements:

  • CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 5 years accounting experience.
  • Big 4 background is desirable.
  • Excel (intermediate to advanced).
  • Passion for problem-solving, process improvement, and drive to implement change.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented while being able to see the big picture and keep things simple.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in SAP, VIM, Concur is favorable.
  • Retail industry experience is desirable.
