  • Supports the entire lifecycle of software design, development, testing and maintenance.
  • Assists with reviewing, analysing and translating customer requirements into initial software designs.
  • Supports software product development, enhancement and optimisation for systems integration.
  • Supports debugging and issue resolution to ensure reliable and efficient software products.
  • Participates in handling user inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues and user feedback analysis.
  • Supports implementation of current and emerging technologies, tools and frameworks relevant to software development.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong object-oriented design skills.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Knowledge or experience in autonomous systems, electronic warfare, electronic sensors & sensor integration, messaging protocols and data exchange.
  • Prior experience using Computer Generated Forces (CGF) simulation applications, including open simulation standards like DIS and HLA.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics and/or Electrical Engineering.

Citizenship is a requirement due to Defence security clearance.
