Teaching Assistant - Learn to Swim Programme

Our institution offers a comprehensive Learn to Swim programme for students of all ages and abilities. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant to join our team in delivering this programme.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swim instruction, be able to work effectively with children of varying skill levels, and possess excellent communication skills. A Working With Children Check and current first aid certificate are also essential requirements for this position.

  • Delivering the Learn to Swim programme to students of all ages and abilities
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of swimming lessons
  • Providing support to teachers in the delivery of swimming programmes
  • Working closely with the swimming department to ensure high-quality programme delivery

The successful applicant will be required to provide their Working with Children Check number and a current first aid certificate to be eligible for this position. Our school is committed to maintaining a child-safe environment and ensuring the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of children.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • ASCTA or AUSTSWIM Qualified Swim Teacher qualification
