Job Overview

The Occupational Therapist plays a pivotal role in empowering individuals to live more independently and achieve greater participation in daily life. This position focuses on delivering client-centred, evidence-based therapy within home, work, and community settings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct standardised and non-standardised functional assessments
  • Deliver therapy programs that support clients to meet their goals
  • Provide Functional Capacity Assessments, prescribe equipment, and recommend home modifications
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate individual therapy interventions
  • Work closely with clients, families, and support staff to develop meaningful and achievable goals
  • Educate clients and their support networks on therapy techniques, equipment uses, and environmental adjustments
  • Document all clinical work and communications in accordance with professional and regulatory standards
  • Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration with other allied health professionals
