About Field Specialist Role

As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable product delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Focal Point: Be the primary point of contact with clients on location.
  • Crew Assignment and Fatigue Management: Coordinate and plan activities to ensure good and consistent service quality as well as safe operation as per standards and procedures.
  • Equipment Preparation: Ensure that equipment is prepared and ready for use.
  • Engineering Interface: Provide an engineering interface with the client.
  • Testing Services: Perform engineering duties as required to provide testing services during Tubing Conveyed Perforations operations.
  • Equipment Dispatching: Ensure that people, equipment, and materials arrive on time at the job site.
  • Job Execution: Rig up, test, and prepare the equipment for the job without any deviations from SESS standards.
  • Communication: Inform clients of any unusual conditions during the job and maintain direct contact with the client's representative throughout the running of service.
  • Technical Support: Support the Service Delivery and Sales process with technical expertise.
  • Training and Development: In charge of an operating cell and responsible for the training and development of personnel assigned to the cell.
  • Maintenance: Responsible for the maintenance status of the assigned equipment.
  • Operations with Explosives: Perform operations with explosives in line with Schlumberger Explosives Standards and Procedures.
  • Job Design: Prepare job design including gun planning, string diagrams, hydraulic calculations, and SPAN modelling to determine charge performance.
  • Utilization of Technology: Utilize FDP (Field Deployment Platform) and WorkRight in Process and Service Delivery (PSD) process through standard work instructions and checklists.
  • Paperwork and Job Tickets: Complete all required pre and post-job paperwork and job tickets on time and without errors as per company policies.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Ensure preventive maintenance on downhole equipment are as per Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) standards and safe, clean, and proper working condition for the next service job.
  • Safety Initiatives: Participate in District HS&E & Quality initiatives and programs (e.g. Risk Assessments, Quality Improvements, Emergency Response Plan, HSE and SQ Objectives, lost prevention team (LPT) and Service Quality Committee (SQC)).
  • Risk Analysis: Perform risk analysis (e.g. HARC, JSA) before each job or task and identifies & addresses potential safety hazards.

The successful candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
