About the Role

As a Career Specialist, you will utilize your skills to support and guide clients in achieving meaningful employment opportunities that lead to sustainable outcomes.

You will apply your customer service skills to build rapport with clients, assist them on their career journey and overcome barriers to employment.

Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders is essential for managing the referral & intake process of job seekers into our chosen programs.

Assessment of job seeker skills, abilities, identification of barriers and intervention strategies are crucial for effective career guidance.

In consultation with our job seekers, we develop and maintain work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions (including other service providers) and employment support activities.

Reverse marketing of job seekers to achieve sustainable employment opportunities is a critical aspect of our services.

Providing pre-employment assistance through vocational counselling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience increases capacity for employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize customer service skills to build rapport with clients and assist them on their career journey
