About the Company

With a well-established relationship with several high-profile repeat clients, the company has secured a number of exciting projects. As such, they are seeking to employ a driven WHS Officer to oversee the delivery of current and upcoming projects from start to finish in their Sydney NSW division.

About the Role

As a WHS/HSEQ Advisor, you will report to the Safety Manager and Project Director to help them advocate safe work practices. You will monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities, assist in developing policies to promote occupational health and safety awareness, and direct accident investigation procedures. Immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on provisions to minimize safety risks
  • Direct accident investigation procedures
  • Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
  • Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a safety officer or similar is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
  • Diligent with an analytical mind
  • Cert 4 in WHS / Safety is essential
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a safety role
