About the Role

As a WHS/HSEQ Advisor, you will report to the Safety Manager and Project Director to advocate safe work practices and monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities. You will assist in developing policies to promote occupational health and safety awareness and collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on provisions to minimize safety risks
  • Direct accident investigation procedures
  • Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
  • Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a safety officer or similar is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
  • Diligent with an analytical mind
  • Cert 4 in WHS / Safety is essential
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a safety role
