Job Opportunity:

Data Center Technicians play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless data center operations. Their responsibilities include performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, identifying issues, and replacing faulty components with minimal disruption to customers and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts post-execution quality checks to verify proper setup of grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling according to safety protocols and deployment standards.
  • Dismantles hardware for simple changes and refreshes following standard procedures.
  • Communicates, reports, and escalates incidents to appropriate management units and engineering specialists.
  • Provides guidance and assistance to other technicians on challenging tasks.
  • Completes required training and observes experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components
  • 1+ year of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology

Additional Requirements:

  • Able to meet Microsoft security screening requirements
  • Australian Citizenship verification
  • NV1/2, PV Clearance Assessment (may be required)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology
  • Applicable certifications: CompTIA, Basic Structure Cabling (BSC)
