Career Opportunity - Finance Data Modeler

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Data Modeler to join our team. As a key member of our FP&A Technology Team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative financial solutions using TM1.

This role involves collaborating closely with finance stakeholders to transform how financial data is modelled, forecasted, analysed, and delivered across the business. You will be working with various technologies, including TM1, Python, and AWS, as well as your knowledge of financial modelling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement advanced financial models and dashboards in TM1
  • Develop and maintain existing financial systems and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience with TM1/Planning Analytics, including solution architecting, model building, UI development, and system configuration
  • Expertise in TI processes, Rules, MDX, and UI/UX design with PAW and PAfE
  • Proficiency in Python, TM1py, REST API, Shell scripts, VBA, and advanced MS Excel
  • Strong background in data modelling, data transformation, SQL, and data warehousing
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)
  • Experience working in Scrum teams and knowledge of Agile methodologies
