We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Avis Budget Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities at our rental location and ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure the smooth operation of the vehicle service department
  • Ensure that vehicles for rent meet company standards for cleanliness, mechanical condition, and roadworthiness
  • Manage fuel deliveries and maintain adequate materials to meet operating and safety requirements
  • Participate in the interview and selection process for new staff
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role with a strong customer service focus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and ability to work with a variety of software systems
  • Full driver's license and ability to work a seven-day rotating roster
