Job Overview

This position plays a vital role in supporting Divisional Risk Committees by providing strategic risk governance and analytics expertise. Key responsibilities include managing governance activities, coordinating risk papers, tracking action items, maintaining decision registers, and ensuring attendance records are up to date.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage governance for all Line 1 Divisional Risk Committees: set agendas, forward planning, take minutes, coordinate papers, track action items, maintain decision registers, and keep attendance records up to date.
  • Support the data analytics team in tracking and reporting on risk measures and metrics.
  • Collaborate with operational and divisional risk teams, as well as BOQ Group Executives and General Management to drive business outcomes.
  • Deliver key risk indicators, support the development of risk frameworks, and utilize tools like GRC and Power BI to drive risk reporting and analytics.
Requirements
  • A detail-oriented professional with a working knowledge of operational risk management frameworks and governance practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience with Power BI is preferred or willingness to learn.
  • Excellent time management, ability to work independently, and manage conflicting deadlines.
  • Experience in financial services is a plus.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels and uphold high standards of compliance and conduct.
