Job Title: Estate Property Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to fill several estate property management roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property acquisition, negotiation, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex land acquisitions and property interests
  • Negotiate and influence to achieve outcomes
  • Solve problems and be tenacious and detail-focused
  • Produce consistent, timely, and accurate results underpinned by strong organizational skills
  • Evaluate and ensure property data and mapping, correspondence, and documentation is up to date

About Our Team: We are responsible for planning and managing the leasing of properties for Defence, licensing of Defence properties, management of public-private partnership contracts, management of Defence office accommodation within the ACT, the acquisition and disposal of properties, as well as managing Defence estate-related requests for information relating to mining, native title, and foreign investment.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility, outcome-focus, and strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder consultation and engagement skills
  • Able to work autonomously or as manager of a small team
  • Tenacious and able to produce consistent, timely, and accurate results
  • Responsive and proactive with attention to detail

Desirable Qualifications: Previous experience in property-related fields, financial management, project management, and complex procurement experience within the public sector would be highly desirable.
