Optimize Staff Utilization

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to play a key role in optimizing staff utilization, strategic and operational workforce planning, and ensuring roster compliance with industrial awards across the business. Supporting contracts across Australia, you'll deliver key insights and recommendations that shape our workforce strategy and help achieve contract KPIs.

As a workforce coordinator, you will spend your time focused on:

  • Workforce Planning - 40%
  • Strategic workforce analysis - 30%
  • Workforce management administration - 20%
  • Reporting and analytics - 10%
Key Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end roster processes, including building, optimizing, and maintaining rosters
  • Maximising staff utilisation and recommending strategies to meet service delivery KPIs
  • Ensuring rosters align with industrial instruments and policies
  • Providing reports and analytics to inform recruitment decisions
  • Driving process improvements and implementing innovative solutions
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
Requirements

To be successful in this role you'll have:

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Experience with workforce management methodologies and workforce management software systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks under pressure and maintain attention to detail
