Job Description

The role involves providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of events and functions. This includes preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness, and supporting the delivery of day-to-day operational services.

You will be responsible for overseeing the provision and supervision of event and function hospitality services, including the front of house, servicing of food and beverage, event order preparation, and general housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities
  • Provide front of house service for events and functions, including food and beverage servicing and general housekeeping duties.
  • Prepare and assist with event orders and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation and customer service.
  • Support safety and operational requirements in line with council policies.
Qualifications
  • A qualification in hospitality or a related field is desirable.
  • Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol is also required.
  • Demonstrated experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in events and functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, organisational and time management skills are essential.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Physical fitness to perform operational tasks including venue setup and pack down.
