About the Role


Tideri Jobbörse is seeking an experienced VET leader to join our School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences as Deputy Dean – VET. In this managerial role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality education and training products in a competitive environment, ensuring compliance with vocational standards, financial sustainability, and quality requirements.



Responsibilities



  • Conceptualise, develop and oversee all aspects of the VET courses delivered by the School, including staff management and associated administrative responsibilities.
  • Lead the management of significant human and physical resources.
  • Interpret legislation and develop policies, procedures and plans particularly in relation to vocational education and training issues.
  • Analyse complex situations and develop delivery strategies that challenge traditional approaches.


About You



  • You hold a postgraduate qualification with significant work experience or extensive relevant work experience in the VET Sector.
  • You have knowledge and understanding of university management, governance and quality assurance frameworks, including legislative and accountability requirements of the Australian Higher Education and Vocational Education sectors.
  • You possess five or more years' experience within a vocational education setting or another post-compulsory education setting and hold a recognised educational qualification.
