About the Role:

  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting and overseeing the diagnosis and repair of a wide range of heavy commercial vehicles.
  • You will actively supervise and mentor a team of Technicians and Apprentices, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Effective communication and liaison with Service Advisors and Technicians during express assessments is crucial in this position.
  • You will also be responsible for carrying out quality control checks on service repairs conducted by Technicians, ensuring all work meets manufacturer requirements for warranty.
  • Actively communicating and escalating any issues to the Workshop Manager and Service Manager is essential in this role.

About You:

  • Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
  • Demonstrated experience with European, American, or Japanese truck brands.
  • People management experience, including providing active supervision and support to Technicians.
  • A process and compliance-driven mindset, with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
