Job Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to support our ongoing investigations and carry out specific experiments in the field of ovarian biology and embryology.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research under supervision and with limited supervision to support various projects within the Oocyte Biology Research Unit.
  • Provide expertise and support for research projects, including conducting research and maintaining high-quality records.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a university degree in Science, Health Science or related discipline, or equivalent knowledge via education, training or experience.
  • Have previous professional experience in a laboratory environment, with practical techniques and knowledge of oocytes/embryos and molecular biology.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to plan, execute and document experimental research.
  • Show excellent time management and recordkeeping skills, with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Be experienced in handling biological fluids, preferably mouse handling, experimentation and dissection.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be flexible in hours when required for experiments, and willing to travel off-campus.
