Job Title: Wall Construction Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wall Construction Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the construction of buildings that will stand the test of time.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials, as well as experience with power tools, hand tools, and brick-cutting machines. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work accurately from detailed plans and specifications, and demonstrate attention to detail.

  • Laying bricks and blocks
  • Applying or removing mortar with a trowel
  • Working accurately from detailed plans and specifications
  • Sealing foundations with damp-resistant materials
  • Using spirit levels and plumb lines to check building alignment
  • Repairing and maintaining building blocks
  • Measuring out build areas and setting out the first rows of bricks and damp course

Requirements for this role include:

  • Certificate III in Bricklaying or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Attention to details
