Bricklayer Job Description

We are looking for skilled bricklayers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, cement blocks, paving, stone, and other materials.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the trade and hold a Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying or equivalent. They will also possess good communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, cement blocks, paving, stone, and other materials.
  • Cut, repair, and arrange bricks and block to precise specifications.
  • Lay bricks, cement blocks, paving, and stone to create seamless surfaces.
  • Prepare and spread mortar to bond bricks and stones.
  • Determine vertical and horizontal alignment of courses and calculate angles accurately.
  • Work efficiently and safely, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
