Risk Manager Leadership Opportunity

As a senior risk management professional, you will lead the Line 1 risk management and advisory teams to ensure our technology environment and services are effectively risk-controlled and aligned to regulatory compliance requirements.

This includes:

  • ">
  • Ensuring effective risk controls and monitoring across the organisation">
  • Leading risk assessments and audits to identify control gaps and process weaknesses">
  • Developing and implementing remediation plans to address identified risks">
  • Providing strategic risk reporting and governance to support executive and board-level decision-making">
  • Collaborating with transformation and technology teams to assess and manage risks in change initiatives">

Key Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies and programs">
  3. Provide expert advice on risk-related matters to senior stakeholders">
  4. Manage a team of risk professionals spanning risk strategy and general risk management, technology, data, and cyber risk">
  5. Oversee risk management activities including controls testing, incident and issue management, KRI monitoring, and regulatory attestation">
  6. Drive strategic risk reporting and governance to support executive and board-level decision-making">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Multiple years of experience in a similar risk-related role">
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management experience and ability to engage and influence across multiple business and support areas">
  • Proven leadership, development and coaching of high-performing, autonomous teams">
  • Deep understanding of operational and IT resiliency, outsourcing and offshoring risks including data and regulatory compliance frameworks">
