In-home Carers Wanted

About this Role:
As a Support Worker, you will provide personalized support to clients in their own homes, assisting with daily living activities such as shopping, personal care, domestic assistance, transport, meal preparation, and social activities.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about improving the quality of life for older Australians.
About You:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (highly regarded but not necessary for entry level positions)
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to employment
- Previous experience working with older people, including those with dementia and/or complex needs (desirable but not essential)
- Empathy for older people within the community
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Understanding of WH&S issues and risk management
- COVID vaccination (minimum of 2 doses)
- Comprehensively insured & registered motor vehicle and current NSW driver's licence
- Those speaking a second language are encouraged to apply
