ICT Security Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT security professional to join our dynamic engineering team in Melbourne.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Technical experience implementing security controls in corporate ICT and/or operational technology environments using systems engineering methodologies
  • Experience implementing security configurations and maintaining Windows systems
  • Experience with privileged access management solutions and working with system owners to onboard systems
  • Experience with vulnerability management solutions and working with system owners to develop scan policies
  • Monitoring the performance of services against SLAs, recommending performance improvements and preparation of performance reports
  • Liaison with service suppliers on information technology matters
  • Preparation of documentation on configuration and procedures for security systems
  • Provision of advice to users of systems and preparation of written reports and correspondence

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- Possess a Bachelor degree
- Possess at least 2 years of relevant experience in information technology
- Experience with Cloud Security Services within AWS and Azure environments
- Experience with Check Point, Palo Alto Firewalls

- Experience developing system documentation including updating system security

- Experience in federal government security environments particularly relating to the
- Protective Security Policy Framework and Information Security Manual Systems engineering experience as part of complex ICT programs or projects
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to adapt to constant change and respond appropriately
- Be a self-motivated, strategic and commercially astute individual
- Have 3 contactable professional referees
