Senior ICT Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior ICT Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and delivering complex ICT systems, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver ICT solutions for various offices and projects across Australia.
  • Prepare technical documents, specifications, and drawings for construction services.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and participate in business development.
  • Support junior staff members and other project engineers in completing projects.
  • Provide technical support and mentoring to clients and internal customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent training in networking, computer science, cyber security, etc.
  • Customer focus and ability to provide bespoke solutions.
  • Experience in designing and delivering structured cabling systems, backbone fibre & copper, MATV/IPTV systems, DAS, ICN - Integrated Communications Network, IP telephony systems, active networks, wireless design, wiredScore assessor, digital signage, large scale AV Systems, data centres, and defence ICT design.
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards (AS/NZ, IEC, ANSI / TIA, BICSI, IEEE, CSA, OBC, NBC).
  • Current AGSVA Baseline clearance, or ability to obtain (must be an Australian Citizen).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to innovate based on customer and industry requirements.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
