Job Summary

We are seeking a Supervisor to lead our Structures team and deliver vital infrastructure projects across Queensland.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting communities across the state.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in civil supervision, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

They will also have the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within set timeframes.

The position offers a competitive remuneration package, annual leave loading of 17.5%, generous leave entitlements, allowances and potential for overtime, permanent employment with a respected government entity, opportunities for professional development and career progression, and a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities include supervising the delivery of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring construction and maintenance services meet client expectations and business objectives, effectively managing and utilising resources to achieve project outcomes, providing leadership and support for change initiatives at the project level, and promoting safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all activities.

The successful candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills and be able to build effective relationships with stakeholders, including clients, colleagues and contractors.

As a leader, they will provide guidance and support to team members and help them develop their skills and expertise.

They will also be responsible for identifying and addressing any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

  • Proven experience in civil supervision, ideally within road or structures maintenance and construction
