Business Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team at Delinea. As a liaison between our Sales and Marketing teams, you will play a vital role in developing initial business relationships and connecting our sales team to potential customers.
About the Role:This is a unique opportunity for a motivated self-starter to work in a dynamic, fast-paced sales and marketing environment. You will be responsible for qualifying inbound leads, researching and profiling targeted companies, and utilizing internal e-learning systems to stay current on the latest trends and technologies in cyber security.
You will also have the chance to interact with prospects and customers at industry trade shows and conferences, and support a variety of inbound and outbound marketing programs and sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Qualify inbound leads into sales opportunities
- Develop qualified leads by researching, profiling, and networking within targeted companies
- Deliver a minimum of 75+ outbound activities (combination of calls/emails) per day
- Utilize internal e-learning systems to stay current on the latest trends and technologies in cyber security market
- Consistently hit weekly success metrics for meetings and/or calls between prospective customers and sales account executives
- Support a variety of inbound and outbound marketing programs and sales initiatives
- Minimum 2 years successful work experience in a SDR or quota-carrying Sales role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (cold calls, personalized LinkedIn messaging, etc)
- Experience with CRM and Sales Engagement platforms (prefer Salesforce & SalesLoft)
- Organized, goal-oriented and data-driven mindset
- Accredited bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
