Healthcare Waste Operator - Silverwater

This is a full-time permanent role offering job security and stability.

">

As a healthcare waste operator, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe disposal of medical waste. You will be responsible for operating plant and equipment to treat medical waste, while maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.

Your daily tasks will include sorting and loading/unloading medical waste collected from our diverse customer base. This may involve transferring waste from collection containers both large and small.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, with good attention to detail. You should also be adept in handling waste from medical facilities.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to be able to work as part of a team, but also independently with our diverse workforce. Some RF gun and Excel experience would be ideal, but not mandatory.

Due to the nature of this work, evidence of currency of vaccination or the willingness to receive defined vaccinations is essential. This includes COVID (2 shots minimum), Flu Shot and Hepatitis A & B.
