Role Summary:

We are seeking a Waste Operative to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, working 36 hours per week over four days (Monday to Friday). This role offers an attractive annual salary package and the opportunity for career progression.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Liverpool City by removing waste, recycling, litter, and servicing bins in a cost-effective manner. They will also operate plant and equipment associated with illegally dumped waste management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Removal of waste, recycling, litter, and bin servicing
  • Operation of plant and equipment
  • Working in a safe manner and ensuring compliance with WHS Act, RMS rules, and Council Safety policies

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • HR Driver's Licence
  • General Construction WHS (White Card)
  • Implement Traffic Control and Implement Traffic Control plans tickets (or in the process of obtaining them)
  • Demonstrated truck driving experience
  • Experience in waste removal
  • Experience in operating Street sweeper and Rear End Load Garbage Compactor
