Venue Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead our newly renovated venue in Gisborne. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the Venue, working closely with the senior team to provide an exceptional customer experience.

The Venue is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, offering indoor and outdoor dining, sports bar, gaming TAB & functions. As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for managing a large team, leading by example, and handling high-pressure situations while maintaining excellent communication and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Expertise in gaming and TAB operations, food and beverage service, leadership skills, and customer service experience.
  • Able to motivate and train staff, maintain accurate reporting, and ensure consistency throughout the Venue.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of food, beer, and wine trends, as well as understanding of venue financials and ability to drive top-line sales and control expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Venue Management role.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
