The Data Centre Chief Engineer is a critical role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of data centres, maintaining 100% availability of critical infrastructure and providing exceptional customer service.

This involves planned preventative maintenance, daily corrective work, and emergency response. The role requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to manage small-to-medium projects from conception to completion and collaborate with external support groups to achieve key milestones.

Technical qualifications include experience in maintaining a DC or Critical Space facility, along with training in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Work Order compliance and ability to manage a 24 x 7 rotating shift roster.
