Data Centre Chief Operations Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated Chief Engineer to join our Data Centre Engineering Operations (DCEO) Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of data centre facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment. This will involve planned preventative maintenance, daily corrective work, and emergency response.
In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and overseeing projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Cover gaps in a 24 x 7 rotating shift roster.
- Manage on-site contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors.
- Establish performance benchmarks and conduct analyses.
- Generate Change Management requests and Incident Management tickets.
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in maintaining a DC or Critical Space facility.
- Technical training in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
