Job Title: Assistant Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Coordinator to join our team at St Pius OSHC at Banyo. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Planning and Delivery: Assist in the development and implementation of high-quality programs that cater to the needs of our children.
  • Staff Supervision and Rostering: Support the Coordinator in supervising and rostering staff to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
  • Administration and Financial Management: Assist with administrative tasks, including fee collection and financial management.
  • Childcare Support: Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for our children, promoting their well-being, learning, and personal development.
  • Community Engagement: Promote the service within the local community, aligning with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Diploma in Children Services or equivalent, as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Certifications: Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
  • Experience: Experience in the education and care of children, with a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place framework.
  • Skills: Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred), and strong workplace communication and leadership skills.
