Simulator Technician Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Simulator Technician to join our team. As a Simulator Technician, you will be responsible for performing complex assignments in office, on site, field, and laboratory settings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated systems.
  • Assisting in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators and associated systems.
  • Training technicians in basic skills and providing technical training for other technicians.
  • Completing all designated training activities and pursuing continued professional growth and training.
  • Performing pre-flight and post-flight checks on all simulators, including visual alignments and required Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Approval Test Guide (ATG)/Qualification Test Guide (QTG) tests.

Additionally, you will assist the Engineering Team with modifications, design changes, and software enhancements, perform refurbishment and hardware modifications, pursue knowledge and skills to enhance your ability as a technical expert, and perform software changes to correct problems on simulators and associated systems.
