Risk Management Specialist

Our organisation is seeking an experienced Risk and Controls Assurance Professional to fill this key role. As a senior member of our Risk and Controls Assurance team, you will play a crucial part in helping businesses across Australia to manage their operational risks effectively.

About the Position

This position offers a unique opportunity to work on multiple projects with flexible working options that cater to your lifestyle. You will provide assurance and advice to clients regarding control readiness, remediation, and reporting to stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Financial services, technology risk and controls environments, IT general controls, testing of automated IT dependent controls across the wealth management ecosystem
  • Internal audit, advisory, and/or third party assurance engagements
  • Strong understanding of the wealth management value chain, including service providers to the industry such as custodians, investment administrators, superannuation administrators and registry/
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in financial services, technology risk and controls environments, IT general controls, testing of automated IT dependent controls across the wealth management ecosystem
  • Proven experience in internal audit, advisory, and/or third party assurance engagements
  • Sound understanding of the wealth management value chain, including service providers to the industry
