About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at IPAR, a national occupational rehabilitation provider.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work closely with clients who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury, providing them with tailored support to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Our team of highly skilled allied health professionals and employment consultants work together to provide comprehensive support to our clients, from workplace rehabilitation to injury prevention and employment services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case Management: Manage caseloads and provide support to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.
  • Return to Work Outcomes: Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Assessment: Complete a variety of assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: A qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or Physiotherapy.
  • Registration: Registration with the relevant governing body.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential for this role.
  • Licenses: A current valid Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is required.
