Job Title:

Microsoft 365 Systems Administrator

Description:

The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 administrator to join our team for an initial 12-month contract with a further 12-month extension option available. This role can be based out of either the Melbourne or Geelong office on a flexible hybrid arrangement.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical people, leveraging their knowledge and experience to resolve issues and deliver innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the agencies Microsoft Exchange On-Premises and Exchange Online environments.
  • Provide support on the M365 platform.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Implementation of technical change management activities.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of an operating model that reflects new ways of working.
  • Investigate complex technical problems assigned to the team and engage others to assist in addressing such problems.
  • Foster a positive culture within the ICT Services Branch, aligned with Agency values.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated 3 years' experience with Microsoft 365 Services.
  • Experience covering Infrastructure, Security & Cloud.
  • Sound understanding of ITIL best practice.
  • Demonstrated high level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to difficult and complex problems.
  • Demonstrated high level customer service and support skills.
  • Experience working in Government or providing services to Government agency.
