We are committed to creating better experiences for our customers and community, and we're looking for a skilled Team Leader to join our Proactive Services team in Jesmond.

About the Role

This is a full-time salaried position that requires a flexible individual who can work across early mornings, days, late nights, and weekends. As a Team Leader, you will lead and develop a team of professionals responsible for ensuring trolleys are available for our customers and maintaining the cleanliness of our stores.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve exceptional results and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning and trolley collection strategies to ensure store standards are met.
  • Coach and train team members to improve their skills and productivity.
  • Create and manage rotas to ensure all tasks and operations are covered.
  • Work collaboratively with Store Leadership teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Maintain accurate time and attendance records and complete any necessary administrative tasks.
  • Order consumables and manage budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation.

Requirements

  • A strong leadership style with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
  • A valid full Australian driver's license (Green P's or full license) is essential.
