Satellite Network Engineer

The Solutions Specialist role is a technical position that involves providing networking infrastructure design, satcom system installation, commissioning, training, and post-sales support to clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, install, and maintain satellite solution hardware components.
- Support and maintain airtime systems (Legacy TC Comms DP and G2 VAR networks and applications).
- Conduct diagnosis of issues being experienced by end users with end-to-end solutions.
- Provide assistance with pre-sales support activities, demonstrations, and exhibitions as required.
- Assemble and test custom solutions to meet specific client needs.
- Corrective Maintenance activities completed successfully on first site visit.
- Completion of allocated tasks to required quality within the agreed completion schedule.
- Compliance with all safety requirements.
- Meeting response and performance SLAs of the 24/7 on-call roster.
Applicants for this role should possess excellent technical skills, including proficiency in satellite connected networking solutions. They should also have strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
Furthermore, applicants should be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in their approach.
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills are also essential, as well as the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
